FYI the "HEIST" video is part of a three song MUSICFILM project titled "DON'T NOBODY MOVE (This is a Heist)" The other two films in the trilogy are "ODYSSEY" and "MIDNITE TRAMPOLINE". The first song in the project "HEIST' was pretty much a "guerrilla" film shoot on the streets of Manhattan ie: without the necessary permits--oops! (a couple of off-duty cop friends controlled traffic), and a bunch of my more well-known friends like JOHN GOODMAN, TREAT WILLIAMS , PETER RIEGERT, MARCIA STRASSMAN, and J.C. QUINN came out in the middle of the night to appear in cameos in the film. (Treat, amazingly, flew his private plane in from Ohio where he was doing a play, to climb into my bathtub for a scene--and then flew right back!) Also, LOIS CHILES spent a night with us on the Staten Island Ferry for the shoot of the second film "ODYSSEY". (I call them "films, or as the original Sony VideoLP package says "Musicfilms", because they are miniature films with a narrative line shot on film and transferred to video.) That night on the ferry shooting Odyssey we experienced a 3 hour thunderstorm -- which you can see shots of in the film...but it did cut down the filming considerably and I had to edit the film together with what footage we were able to get -- you can see the repeat usage of shots.. I think tho' that the reduced footage that I had to work with in the edit helped in that it led me to create out of it a sort of a "dream" piece -- which really suits the song. The third Musicfilm on the LP is "MIDNITE TRAMPOLINE", (which I directed -- BRIAN OWENS directed "HEIST" and "ODYSSEY".) CORINE LORAINE co-stars in this one where I play VITO LA CUENTA a small-time gigolo/BoyToy who falls for a "client" and gets left holding the pasta. We shot it all in my friend Gary Heery's loft in SoHo...AND he designed and built all of the sets. (That's Gary in the foreground of one of the early scenes in the prologue trying mightily to shove cold spaghetti in his face). Also, look for Felix the cat at the end of the prologue. So--enjoy them all -- and check in now and then to see and hear what's new. tony
